1. Paṭhamapubbārāma Sutta.– Taught at the Pubbārāma. Gaining the controlling faculty of wisdom (paññindriya) leads to the destruction of the corruptions (āsava). S.v.222.
2. Dutiyapubbārāma Sutta.– The cultivation of Noble wisdom (paññā) and Noble release (vimutti) leads to the destruction of the corruptions. S.v.223.
3. Tatiyapubbārāma Sutta.– The cultivation of the four controlling faculties — energy (viriya), mindfulness (sati), concentration (samādhi), and wisdom (paññā) — leads to the destruction of the corruptions. S.v.223.
4. Catutthapubbārāma Sutta.– The same four with faith (saddhā) added to the controlling faculties. S.v.223.
