Pāḷi words require special accents for correct spelling. Verdana only supports the macrons (ā ī ū) needed for long vowels. This site uses the Verajja font, which contains all of the Latin Extended Additional glyphs required for Pāḷi. This is now embedded.
Most of my booklets are now formatted for the convenience of reading online. If you want a printed hard copy, it is not difficult to print any PDF file as a booklet using PDF-XChange.
For most users, Vivaldi is now a better alternative to Opera. See my Vivaldi review page for an overview of the features.
Older versions of Opera are available from the FTP Server by browsing the folder listings. Opera 12.17 offers a lot of options for customisation, but no longer works on many web sites.

Wherever you see the PDF-XChange logo you can download a booklet in Adobe’s Portable Document Format. If you want to download several books, visit the author’s bio page to see a list of all available PDF files, e.g. for Mahāsi Sayādaw.
Wherever you see the Calibre logo you can download an E-book in epub format for reading on a portable device or in the Calibre viewer.
There are some excellent Buddhist resources on the Internet, and many forums where one can discuss all aspects of Buddhism. Vivaldi browser can be customised in many ways to make the learning process more enjoyable. Web Panels, Custom search engines, Notes, and Sessions are great aids to study.
Installation is quick and simple. For maximum security, I recommend that you install Vivaldi to an encrypted drive, and use the USB install option. This keeps all sensitive data on the encrypted drive.
Vivaldi is a new browser created by former Opera CEO Jon von Tetzchner. It is still in development, but the plan is to build a replacement for the old Opera with built-in email etc. It is already faster and more reliable than old Opera for browsing, but not quite as customisable yet. It is now my default browser.
Opera 12.17 took more than 10 years to become the powerful tool that it still is, and Vivaldi is still in its early stages of development. Nevertheless, it does most that a browser should. More features are added every month, if not every week.
