Pāḷi words require special accents for correct spelling. Verdana only supports the macrons (ā ī ū) needed for long vowels. Install a font like Verajja that contains all of the Latin Extended Additional glyphs required for Pāḷi.
Booklet Printing
Most of my booklets are now formatted for the convenience of reading online. If you want a printed hard copy, it is not difficult to print any PDF file as a booklet using PDF-XChange Viewer.
Recommended Browser
Opera 12.17 is now available via check for updates or from the download page by clicking the Opera banner. This update fixes some bugs and security issues. See the Changelogs for details. See my Opera review page for some tips.
Older versions are available from the Opera FTP Server by browsing the folder listings.

Wherever you see the PDF-XChange logo you can download a booklet in Adobe’s Portable Document Format. If you want to download several books, visit the author’s bio page to see a list of all available PDF files, e.g. for Mahāsi Sayādaw.
Wherever you see the Calibre logo you can download an E-book in epub format for reading on a portable device or in the Calibre viewer.
Using Opera
There are some excellent Buddhist resources on the Internet, and many forums where one can discuss all aspects of Buddhism. Opera browser can be customised in many ways to make the learning process more enjoyable. Opera Next (Opera 24 or later) is far less customisable, and is not worth using yet unless you are happy with the default setup or using extensions to add back the missing features like APNG support.
Installation is quick and simple. For maximum security, I recommend that you install Opera to an encrypted drive, and use the USB install option. This keeps all sensitive data like your email contacts, emails, passwords, and bookmarks on the encrypted drive.
Opera is free, and if you register on the Opera forums you can get free support from other users.
