Vera Sutta

1. Vera Sutta.- Taught to Anāthapiṇḍika, on the five dread hatreds: taking life, theft, fleshly lusts, lying, and indulgence in intoxicants. A.iii.204.

2. Vera Sutta.- Taught to Anāthapiṇḍika on the advantages of getting rid of the fivefold dread (given in Sutta 1 above). A.iv.405f.

3. Vera Sutta.- The same as Sutta (2); taught the monks. A.iv.407.
