Tirīṭavaccha


1. Tirīṭavaccha.- The Bodhisatta born as a brahmin in KÄsi. See the Tirīṭavaccha JÄtaka.
2. Tirīṭavaccha.- A millionaire of Aritthapura, father of Ummadantī (J.v.210, 211). He is also called Tirīti°. J.v.215; ThigA.i.192.
3. Tirīṭavaccha.- A brahmin, chief priest (purohita) of Candappajjota and father of
MahÄ KaccÄna. His wife was CandapadÅ«mÄ. v.l. Tidivavaccha. Ap.ii.465; ThagA.i.485.
