1. SÄ«va Thera.- A monk of Sri Lanka, an eminent teacher of the Vinaya. Vin.v.3. 2. SÄ«va.- See MahÄsÄ«va, CÅ«lasÄ«va, TanasÄ«va, BhayasÄ«va, etc. 3. SÄ«va.- King of Sri Lanka (522 A.C.). He was the maternal uncle of KumÄradhÄtusena, whom he killed in order to seize the throne. He reigned only twenty-five days, and was killed by Upatisssa. Cv.xli.1-5. 4.
