Samudda Sutta


1. Samudda Sutta.- Two or three drops of water, if taken from the sea, are infinitesimal compared with what is left. S.ii.136 f.
2. Samudda Sutta.- In the discipline of the Noble Ones it is sight, sounds, etc., that constitute the ocean. The world is, for the most part, plunged therein. S.iv.157.
3. Samudda Sutta.- The same as sutta (1). For the person who has understanding the suffering that he has destroyed is infinitesimal compared with what remains in the world. S.v.463.
