SahassayÄga Sutta

Evidently a name given to one of the SatullapakÄyika Suttas (S.i.19), in which the Buddha praises the worth of a small but righteous gift as being far greater than large gifts made un-righteously.

A stanza from this sutta is quoted in the BilÄrakosiya JÄtaka (J.iv.66) and in the MahÄvaṃsa ṬīkÄ. MT.596.
