1. Nikata.- A lay disciple (upÄsaka) of ÑÄtikÄ. After death he was born in the SuddhÄvÄsÄ, there to pass away. S.v.358f.;D.ii.91f. 2. Nikata.- One of several eminent theras mentioned as staying in the KÅ«á¹ÄgÄrasÄla in VesÄli. When the Buddha came there, Licchavis crowded out the place with all their retinues, and Nikata and his coleagues, desiring solitude, retired to the Gosiá¹…gasÄlavana. A.v.133f.
