Natumhākaṃ Sutta

1. Natumhākaṃ Sutta.– None of the aggregates belong to you; therefore they should be got rid of. Getting rid of them will be for your profit and welfare.

2. Dutiya Natumhākaṃ Sutta.– As above, but without the simile. S.iii.34.

3. Paṭhama Natumhākaṃ Sutta.– The eye, sights, eye-consciousness, visual-contact, feelings arisen dependent upon visual-contact. The ear, sounds … the mind … feelings arisen dependent upon mental contact are not yours; therefore they should be got rid of.

If people were to take away the grass, sticks, wood, and leaves from this Jeta grove, would you think that they are carrying you away? No, Venerable sir. Just so, monks, what is not yours, get rid of it. S.iv.81.

4. Dutiya Natumhākaṃ Sutta.–  As above, but without the simile. S.iv.82.

5. Paṭhama Natumhākaṃ Sutta.– The eye, monks, is not yours; therefore it should be got rid off. The ear … the nose … the tongue … the body … the mind is not yours; therefore it should be got rid off. S.iv.128.

6. Dutiya Natumhākaṃ Sutta.– Sights … sounds … odours … flavours … touches … ideas are not yours; therefore they should be got rid of. S.iv.129.
