Mūsila
1. MÅ«sila (v.l. MusÄ«la, Musila). Devadatta born as the chief musician of Ujjeni. For his story see the Guttila JÄtaka. 2. MÅ«sila Thera. A monk. A conversation is recorded in the Saṃyutta NikayÄ (S.ii.115f ) between him and Savittha, which is said to have taken place in GhositÄrÄma in KosambÄ«, regarding the Law of Dependent Origination (paá¹iccasamuppÄda).
