MigÄcira
1. MigÄcira. A park in Benares (J.v.68, 476, 506). This seems to have been an old name for Isipatana, for it was the scene of SikhÄ« Buddha’s first discourse, (BuA. 205) and all Buddhas teach their first discourse in the same place. See Buddha. 2. MigÄcira. A park near Indapatta, which once belonged to Dhanañjaya Korabba (J.vi.256). It existed even in the time of the Buddha, for Raá¹á¹hapÄla Thera is mentioned as having stayed there. M.ii.65; MA.ii.725, 730; but ThagA.ii.34 calls it MigÄjina.
