Koṇá¸añña Sutta


AññÄta-Koṇá¸añña visits the Buddha at Veḷuvana after a very long interval (twelve years, says the Commentary SA.i.216), and falling down on the ground kisses the Buddha’s feet, uttering his own name, “I am Koṇá¸añña, O Blessed One.†Vaá¹…gÄ«sa, who is present, having obtained the Buddha’s permission, utters verses in praise of Koṇá¸añña.
