The full-moon day of the fourth month, Kattika, usually found in the phrase “KomudÄ« CatumÄsinÄ«.â€

The Commentary (DA.i.139) says it was so called because then the white water-lily flowered luxuriantly (kumudÄni supupphitÄni honti).
