Kodhana Sutta

1. Kodhana Sutta.– Anuruddha approaches the Blessed One and tells him that he sees with the divine-eye women reborn in hell, and ask why they are so reborn. The Buddha replies that a woman endowed with five things is reborn in hell after death: she is faithless (assaddho), shameless (ahirko), reckless (anottapo), wrathful (kodhano), and weak in wisdom (duppañño). S.iv.240.

2. Kodhana Sutta.– There are seven things that an angry person wishes to befall his or her rival: ugliness, discomfort, failure in enterprises, poverty, disrepute, loss of friends, and inauspicious rebirth. A.iv.94 f.
