Goṇaddha (Goṇaddhapura)

One of the places passed by Bāvarī’s disciples on their way from Bāvarī’s hermitage to see the Buddha at Rājagaha. Between Goṇaddha and their starting place lay Patitthāna, Māhissati and Ujjeni, and the next stopping place after Goṇaddha was Vedisā. (Sn.vs.1011).

The Commentary (SnA.ii.583) says that Goṇaddha was another name for Godhapura.
