Goṇaddha (Goṇaddhapura)

One of the places passed by BÄvarī’s disciples on their way from BÄvarī’s hermitage to see the Buddha at RÄjagaha. Between Goṇaddha and their starting place lay PatitthÄna, MÄhissati and Ujjeni, and the next stopping place after Goṇaddha was VedisÄ. (Sn.vs.1011).

The Commentary (SnA.ii.583) says that Goṇaddha was another name for Godhapura.
