A dissertation delivered by the Buddha, outside the MigÄrÄmÄtupÄsÄda, on a full-moon day. He tells of the twofold insight — the insight of dukkha and its cause, nirodha and the way thereto. He then proceeds to explain the origin of dukkha, from upadhi, avijjÄ, etc. (SN. p.139ff).
