DÄ«ghagÄmaṇī
A SÄkiyan prince, son of DÄ«ghÄyu and, therefore, cousin of UmmÄda-CittÄ. Having heard of CittÄ, he went to UpatissagÄma and took service at the court of Paṇá¸uvÄsudeva.
There CittÄ saw him and fell in love with him and he visited her by night. When a child was conceived Citta was given to him in marriage.
This child was Paṇá¸ukÄbhaya. Citta and KÄlaveḷa were servants of DÄ«ghagÄmaṇī. Mhv.ix.13ff; Dpv.x.8f.
