CullasÅ«ka JÄtaka (No.430)
The story of the past is the same as that of the MahÄsÅ«ka JÄtaka (q.v.). It was related in reference to the Buddha’s visit to VerañjÄ, where, for the three months of the rainy season, he had to live on water and a modicum of the ground flour of roots, because of the evil influence of MÄra.
