1. BhÄvitatta. One of the two chief disciples of Sumana Buddha (J.i.34; Bu.v.26). He was the purohita in Sumana’s city of birth, and was one of those to whom Sumana taught his first discourse. BuA. 126. 2. BhÄvitatta. A king who heard Paduma Buddha teach, and became a monk with a retinue of one hundred thousand crores. BuA.148. 3. BhÄvitatta. The name of two Pacceka Buddhas. M.iii.69.
