AvidÅ«re NidÄna

The story of Gotama the Buddha, from the time of his leaving the Tusita heaven until the attainment of his Enlightenment at the foot of the Bodhi-tree, is called AvidÅ«re NidÄna (J.i.2;47-77).

The whole of the story agrees word for word with the account given in the MadhuratthavilÄsinÄ«,
