An Arahant. In Padumuttara’s time he was a brahmin named NÄrada.
Seeing the Buddha going along, attended by his monks, he uttered the Buddha’s praises in three stanzas.
130 world-cycles ago he was born as a king named Sukhitta.
He is probably identical with NÄgita Thera. Ap.i.168.
