Aggapaṇḍita

A native of Burma and author of the Lokuppattipakarana, written at Pagan in the thirteenth century (Gv.64, 67). The Pitakatthamain calls the work Lokuppattipakāsanī (Bode, 16, n.3).

The Sāsanavaṃsa (74) speaks of three monks by the name of Aggapandita: Mahā-Aggapaṇḍita (evidently our author), Dutiya-Aggapaṇḍita (his saddhivihārika), and Tatiya-Aggapaṇḍlita (his nephew), all of Arimaddanapura and all famed for their learning.
