Aciravata

A novice who had a conversation with Prince Jayasena on the life of the bhikkhu. Aciravata repeats this conversation to the Buddha who thereupon teaches the Dantabhūmi Sutta (M.iii.128ff).

The novice is throughout addressed as Aggivessana.
