Accimukhī
A NÄga princess, daughter of Dhataraá¹á¹ha, the NÄga king. She was half-sister to the Bodhisatta BhÅ«ridatta and helped his brother Sudassana to rescue the Bodhisatta from the clutches of the snake-charmer Ä€lambÄna.
She could shoot flames from her mouth and spit the deadliest poison.
The story is related in the BhÅ«iridatta JÄtaka (J.vi.157ff).
In the present age she was the BkikkhunÄ« Uppalavaá¹‡á¹‡Ä (J.vi.219) (AccÄ«-mukhÄ«).
