Āyāgadāyaka Thera

An Arahant. In a previous birth he worshipped with gladsome heart the thupa of Sikhī Buddha and gave carpenters money to build a long alms-hall (āyāga), says ApA.).

As a result he was born in deva worlds and could bring even the devas into subjection. He could produce rain at will. Ap.i.89-90.
