Āḷavaka-pucchÄ

A name for the questions asked by Āḷavaka of the Buddha and mentioned in the Āḷavaka Sutta (q.v.)

When the SÄsana gradually falls into abeyance, questions such as these and the questions in the Sabhiya-pucchÄ, will remain in the memories of men, but they will not suffice to keep the religion alive (VibhA.432).
